About Vidlr
Vidlr is a built-in browser and video downloader in one app. Navigate to any site with a video, and Vidlr's stream detector watches network traffic in the background for MP4, HLS, DASH, and other video URLs. When streams are found, tap the download panel to review and choose. No extensions, no desktop required.
Downloads run as a foreground service with full pause and resume support. HTTP downloads resume from where they left off using Range requests — you never lose progress. A desktop mode toggle lets you force sites to serve their full desktop layout, giving access to higher-quality streams that mobile layouts often hide.

What Vidlr Does Not Do
Vidlr detects streams that the page already delivers to your browser as part of normal rendering. It does not crack DRM, bypass authentication, or circumvent any access controls. Only streams the page itself sends to the browser are accessible.
Respect copyright. Only download content you have the right to save.
